LETTER OF CONGRATULATIONS TO KING CHARLES | Ref. No. IG/OP/0928/22
Cognisant of UNGA Resolution 1608 (vx) of 21st April 1961 granting independence to the UN Trust Territory of Southern Cameroons, and the subsequent non-execution of all the processes of decolonisation prescribed therein, the Interim Government (representing the aspiration of an overwhelming majority of Ambazonians) has been clear and consistent in articulating the basis of the root cause of the Southern Cameroons Problem, which is the non-execution in its entirety of the above mentioned UN Resolution, thus paving the way for the annexation and recolonisation of Southern Cameroons by La Republique du Cameroun in 1961.
“ALL HAIL OUR KING”. On behalf of the People of Former British Southern Cameroons, I wish to congratulate you on ascending to your new, highly respected, and revered role as the King of England. Your reign means a lot to us for the Anglo-Saxon culture that was injected to us in the Southern Cameroons Ambazonia since after the second World War in 1916. Your reign means a lot because, today, we are an endangered people facing total assimilation and deprivation of our Anglo-Saxon heritage by France and her proxies, the Republic of Cameroon. What a travesty in the lives of peaceful, smart thinking people.! Just as the UK recognized Barbados, a country of under 300,000, we of Former British Southern Cameroons with 8 Million people and rich in resources, expect same recognition. A few days ago, the Queen of England, the then head of the UN Trustee Administrator that presided over our continued enslavement under the French hegemony and French Cameroon bizarre stranglehold died.

2016 when the lawyers and teachers’ strikes started and 2017 when our civil societies and population in the Home Front took to the streets to challenge the colonial status quo marks what is known as the re-ignition of our liberation struggle. The next logical question is: When did this liberation struggle start? Was it in 2016 or in 1961 when we were annexed by the Republic of Cameroon
To make matters worse, these prisoners live under inhumane conditions that are unbearable and deplorable. They are denied access to humanitarian, medical, and legal support. They live in very crowded quarters despite the threat of COVID-19. Those who are lucky may be fed once a day. At least 25 have died in prison due to poor healthcare, poor feeding, overcrowding, or torture.
A MESSAGE TO PRESIDENT MACRON | Ref. No. FRA/0726/22
French Cameroon, one of your vasal states in Africa, has for the past 60 years, taken everything we are and all we have in Ambazonia, and left us with nothing. He who has nothing to live for is not afraid to die trying to get what he believes is his. We have nothing to loose because we have lost all, our only hope is to fight. Some of us will surely die but not all of us, Ambazonia must be free! No force by whosoever will break our resolve to a free and independent homeland. If it means continuing this war for decades, we will do so until Ambazonia is completely liberated from this Franco-Cameroon annexation!
